Nichols Middle School is located in the heart of Canton, down the street
from my first placement, McNeal Elementary. This school is prodominately Black with a few Caucasians and Hispanics.
From the first day I felt like I had been there before, the smiling faces and welcoming personalities. I felt comfortable
the very first day.
Nichols Middle contains fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students.
At that age I do believe that some of the students go through changes of being children to young adults. The school
has an after-school tutoring program, America's Choice, and plenty of monitors so no one gets off task.
